Story
Heimatschuss / Blighty Wound. In 1943, a medical student seeks to use a wounded soldier's case for her psychiatry dissertation and meets with opposition from the surgeon assigned to the patient's care. Her brother arrives back in Berlin from the Russian front to continue his training, and attempts to prevent the wounded soldier from being court-martialed. The medical student's husband begins vaccine experiments on disabled children in a residential hospital.
