Story
Prior to Trixie's much-anticipated arrival, yet another major change is made to Nonnatus House by Sister Usurla. But it seems as though these decisions are fueled by her past experiences with maternity and nursing establishments. When a newborn's life is put in danger in the name of efficiency, she has a lot to reflect upon. Meanwhile, the maternity home is at risk of being shut down to make way for hospital development. The inspection is interrupted by two devastating incidents.
