Story
Sharon is not happy. She may be reconciled with Rob but she is past child bearing, her father's dementia is getting worse and Fergal, returned from Spain, wants to move in. At a dinner party given by Fran and Chris Sharon and Rob are taken aback when they are asked to be the legal guardians of the other couple's teen-aged actor son Jeffrey should they die. Later Chris, desperate that Fran's new beau Douglas should not be able to adopt Jeffrey, leans on Rob to accept on pain of telling Sharon he is drinking again. Dave's girlfriend Catherine also has a surprise for him.
