Story
It's still frosty in Greendale and the children decide to go sledging. The twins lose control of their sledge and end up on an icy pond. They are in a dangerous situation, particularly when the ice starts to break up. Luckily Pat is on his deliveries and has a long, retractable ladder, which needs to be delivered to Alf. He uses the ladder to crawl across the ice and rescue the children. Alf puts up a notice by the edge of the pond, warning every one of the dangers of broken ice.
