Story
The wagon train staff is giving Coop a hard time about joining the Pulaski family for dinner where the daughter Rose has Coop all but tied up. Coop and the gorgeous Rose Pulaski are falling in love with each other after running into each other before the wagon train left to go west. However, when Coop arrives for dinner he recognizes Rose's brother Sam causing Coop to recall their past. Coop recognizes him as the leader of a gang that beat and robbed him in Brooklyn at Hell's Kitchen a while earlier. Sam asks Coop to say nothing about the incident to which Coop agrees when Sam tells Coop he is coming west to change his ways. However, Sam omits that two of his confederates have also joined the train and they are running a protection racket - under Sam's orders. Rose has an idea how Sam has made a living since the age of 12 but their mom has no clue. Rose's brother Sam objects to Coop, as he has to every man Rose has wanted to be with even though she is an adult and their mother tells ...
