Story
The Hale wagon train left St. Joseph four days ago but are already stopping at Kincaid to pick up supplies. Supposedly there have been no Indians in the area for years but at Kincaid a defiant young brave and a squaw turn up at the wagon train stop. The town's female boss Kate Crowley won't release Hale's needed provisions, to keep the caravan at a standstill and its staff there to help her. Nothing about the situation is as it seems, including that the woman is hiding a knife to murder the town's most prominent citizen. Kate takes the squaw with her but the brave is turned over to Cooper Smith and wagon master Christopher Hale. Until their situation is resolved Chris is caught between getting his wagons rolling, keeping his men and the brave from killing each other, and satisfying the town's woman boss one way or another. They learn both Comanches are really white captives and the woman has a surprising past which will upset some prominent lives in Kincaid.
