Story
In western Wyoming Duke Shannon is scouting for the wagon train but has been gone for a long time worrying Chris Hale. Chris and Bill decide to check things out for themselves and they come upon the same problem Duke found. An earthquake or other event has replaced a mountain and a pass with a wild river that is impossible to cross. Bill spots Duke's gun and holster on the ground. Chris sends Bill back to take charge of the wagons while he looks for a pass and the unarmed Duke who must be in danger. He eventually does find Duke with a new grave. They return to the train where Chris describes what happened as the exhausted Duke sleeps. Duke was held up by an outlaw known as Tom Tuesday who has a high price on his head after helping rob a million dollars. Tom has been hit in the head by a shotgun blast causing him to pass out letting Duke regain control. However, later Tom uses a hidden derringer to regain control. He wants Duke to lead him to Idaho to the daughter he has never seen who...
