Story
Cannon takes the case of a Vietnam vet named David Pearson who is accused of killing Terri Sadler, a young woman he was dating. Terri's body and bike was found dumped in the ocean. Cannon is not convinced of David's guilt in the crime and soon realizes the real killer is a motorboat racer named Brian Gibson, another man she was seeing. Brian tried to force himself on Terri while she was on his boat. Terri fought back, he shoved her accidentally causing her to hit her head and die. Brian tries to throw Cannon off the scent, but makes the mistake of paying to having him killed by two of his friends. Now suspicious Cannon purses Brian to prove he is a murderer.
