Story
Architect Hugh Crawford and wife Jude want to live a more rewarding, sustainable life so they have given up their house Godalming in Surrey to move to the remote village of Dihewyd near Cardigan Bay in Wales. They have spent £297,000 on 16-acre smallholding with a run-down farmhouse and hope to renovate and extend the property to create their dream home as well as using the land to become self sufficient. The smallholding also includes outbuildings which Hugh and Jude plan to turn into holiday lets to provide an income for their retirement. Can they complete the whole project on a budget of £120,000.
