Story
Tom Croydon has witnessed the destruction of the Mt Thomas Police Station. He wakes in hospital and the first face he sees is that of Sergeant Nick Schultz, who is in charge of the investigation into the explosion. Tom is told the explosion also killed Jo and a mentally disabled young man, Clancy Freeman. Tom's staff are thrown into emotional disarray by these events. New police premises are quickly organised and two new staff members unexpectedly arrive - Sergeant Mark Jacobs and Detective Amy Fox. Tom is more concerned with the disappearance of his wife Grace. He discharges himself from hospital and leads the search.
