Story
Situated at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, 22 contestants live together in an isolated house for several months. Housemates are under the control of Big Brother, a rule enforcing authority figure who monitors behaviour of the housemates, set tasks and punishments and provides the mechanism for contestants to make external requests. Housemates must avoid being evicted by viewers of the show with the aim of winning a substantial cash prize at the end of the series. It was revealed that the Housemates would play in pairs. The pairs are Katie and Priya, Gemma and Jake, David and Sandra, Dion and Jason, Lisa and Skye, Ryan and Travis, Cat and Sam and Aisha and Lawson. Katie and Priya were selected as the Heads of House and were given their first Power Play. They had to choose one pair to be banished to the fish bowl in the garden. They chose Dion and Jason.
