Story
A financier who embezzled millions of dollars reportedly dies soon after in a car crash. Barnaby is hired to find the money. But what he doesn't know is that the man, his wife, and a crooked mortician staged the death and then claimed to have cremated the remains. A friend cum sophisticated fence is tasked with converting the money into something easier to move around, like, say, diamonds. The wife and the friend seem to be getting very cozy while she continues to play the grieving widow in public a little while longer. The husband gets suspicious and starts demanding to see the gems. But who is cheating whom? Real violence starts taking place; this is no purely white-collar crime. And the crooked mortician is getting greedier after getting grilled by Barnaby.
