Story
The summer is almost over, and the guests are preparing to part with the sweet vacation life. Fie is asked to stay for the winter, but is unsure because of her relationship with Morten. Mrs. Fjeldsoe makes a last desperate attempt to find a suitable match for her son Adam, while Weyse gives up his desperate hunt for Mrs. Aurland and learns something new about women's psychology. Merchant Madsen sees through Count Ditmar, but still considers him a suitable son in law. Everything seems bright until Ditmar's tormentor suddenly appears at the hotel and threatens to reveal the young Count's past.
