Story
Nina/Rita has to deal with Nilo in her room and his threat to tell all. As they are discussing, Ivana finds them together and is quizzical about why Mr. Nilo would be talking to the cook.
Leleco pulls aside his son Tufão and asks if he was bothered by Silas announcing his engagement to Monalisa at the party. Tufão denies any bad feelings because the past is over and done with.
Ivana gets an over-the-top gold watch from mom in front of all the guests. It isn't long before Janaína's son, who was there to pour champagne, finds a way to pocket that watch. Nilo gets a chance alone with Carminha but Nina comes into the room and interrupts. She then convinces him not to tell during the party but instead to meet her at her apartment because she will make it worth his while.
The birthday cake is being cut and Tufão and Monalisa begin reminiscing about their wedding cake and all those plans and dreams. It starts sweet, goes bittersweet and is left just plain bitter.
