Story
Ward 17 is business as usual as Bron heads off to help Lyle through the "opening night" nerves his play premiere has given rise to. But the best laid plans go horribly wrong when an earth tremor buckles train tracks and the train they are travelling on with 300 passengers on board jack-knifes hitting a tunnel pylon at high speed. Trapped in the damaged train carriage, Bron sustains a head injury but still tries to treat the wounded around her while attempts are made to free them from the wreckage. When the carriage starts to shift, the passengers are promptly buried under the carriage's collapsed roof. The tremor also hits Ward 17 and Von injures her wrist in a fall. With Von's arm in plaster, Ward 17 is understaffed and already at full capacity with patients but still everyone gears up for the influx of additional casualties from the train disaster.
