Story
Barry Mitchell is rushed into the ED having been involved in an MVA. He is suffering from shock, and is presenting with breathing difficulties and a possible ruptured spleen. Intriguing for the ED team, is that Barry is dressed only in jeans. They surmise that Barry has been involved in adulterous tryst prior to his car accident. But the real story is revealed when Carl Woodman sneaks his way into the ED and attacks Barry. Sean pulls Carl off but not before Barry's condition turns into medical crisis. While Mike and Zoe fight to save Barry's life, Sean learns of Carl's motivation for the attack. Meanwhile, Charlotte is struggling to maintain her spirits after being passed over for promotion. Adding to her woes is her recent discovery that Zoe, the very woman who seems to be usurping her, is sleeping with her good friend Sean. Adding to her sense of inadequacy, Charlotte is unable to prevent her cardiac patient, a high powered business woman, from walking out of the ED without proper ...
