Story
Caroline Hardy lives with her handsome brother Collin. She is in her thirties, unmarried and thinks of herself as ugly and unattractive. She thinks the world of her stage actor brother, for whom she keeps house. She sees them drifting apart however, particularly as Collin seems ever closer to his girlfriend, Joan. Caroline hatches a plot to ensure Collin will be dependent upon her and will shun all outside contact.
