Story
In a disagreement with the Witches' Council, who order Samantha and Darrin not to be seen together in public due to he being a mortal, Samantha and Darrin make a hasty return home from Salem one week earlier than planned. Esmeralda intercepts an order from the Council for Samantha to appear before them in Salem immediately. Believing Samantha would defy the order in her anger, Esmeralda uses a spell to send Samantha back to good old Salem, which is what happens: Samantha is sent to "old" Salem, namely seventeenth century Salem. In the process, Samantha loses her memory, not knowing who she is, and loses her witchcraft. When Endora finds out what happened, she sends Darrin back to old Salem to rescue Samantha, that rescue which includes Darrin needing to give Samantha a magic charm to restore her powers.
