Story

Queensland senator Pauline Hanson has spoken passionately about Lakemba, a suburb in Sydney's southwest, telling the Senate in 2017, "If you look around Sydney, Lakemba and Bankstown, these areas, they're no longer Australian". Despite her concerns, Senator Hanson agreed to visit the suburb, and pointed out Australians have been forced out of the area as they don't feel a part of it any more. Senator Hanson also opened up about the day she stormed the Senate in a burqa, stating it is a claustrophobic garb and won't be worn again.
