Story

Australians are being cold called, by men with accents from the Indian subcontinent, claiming to be from the ATO demanding your name and details, and informing you have a huge debt that needs to be paid immediately. Sadly, many Australians have already fallen victim to their lies, estimated at over $2.3 million. When confronted over the phone by a reporter, a scammer threatens physical violence and rape if they go to the police.
