Story
Three Muslim men, including two brothers, face long gaol terms after being charged in plotting a terror attack in Melbourne. They're accused of wanting to kill as many people as possible in a planned Christmas holiday massacre. Ertunc Eriklioglu, Samed Eriklioglu, and Hanifi Halis, had organized to purchase a semiautomatic .22 rifle on the black market via encrypted messages, before a joint-counter terrorism team raided their Melbourne homes and arrested them. All three had become self-radicalized and operated from a covert mosque.
