Story
New York tonight is counting the human cost of another terrorist attack. One man, apparently acting alone, ploughed a rented truck through people on a bike path, killing eight, and injuring many more. Uzbek immigrant, Sayfullo Saipov, 29, mounted the kerb and drove through 20 blocks worth of bicycle lanes near the World Trade Centre site, before crashing his vehicle into a school bus and then tried to run away, brandishing two handguns, shouting "Allahu Akbar". According to police, Saipov had been planning the attack for a number of weeks and he did this in the name of ISIS.
