Graphic CCTV footage of an alleged arson attack was played in Melbourne court today. It showed Muslim asylum seeker Nur Islam, pouring petrol over the floor of a Commonwealth Bank branch in Springvale, full of customers, and setting it alight. Islam claimed he was tired of waiting in a queue for service. The fire caused more than $3 million damage, injured a dozen people, two seriously. Islam was charged with a total of 108 offences including intentionally causing serious injury, serious injury, arson, and property damage by fire.
