Story
Matron Hilda Arrowsmith arrives at the hospital and Maggie is convinced her old nemesis is up to no good. A childless couple pin all their hopes on an IVF programme. Maggie uncovers the truth behind Hilda's apparent friendliness - she is trying to keep well in with the committee so that she'll be elected regional head of the Institute of Nursing Directors.
