Story

Shirley's concern for Frank grows when he refuses to talk about the shooting. Ben's relationship with the beautiful Kate Wellbourne blossoms, despite her father's obvious disapproval. Judy worries that the shooting has had a bad effect on Jo when she becomes withdrawn. Alex Fraser becomes involved with a woman who doesn't realise she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis.
