Story
Luke's friendship with Kevin Walsh, an itinerant worker, soon turns sour when he discovers the man has abandoned his kids. Matron Sloan is fed up with Paula Williams, a trainee nurse who seems to lack practical experience. After a heated row, Paula resigns but Lucy, who notices how good Paula is with elderly patients, persuades her to give it another go. Luke and Kevin are both injured when they fall down an old well. Cathy is pleased to see Lucy and Matt return, but not too keen when Esme confides in her as "one spinster to another." After getting hold of Esme's dandelion wine and falling asleep while watching a movie, Bob wakes to the notion that the townsfolk are all aliens and are out to get him.
