Story
A doctor and his spoiled teen son (Sam and Nick) come to the small town of Middleton to set up residence. There they meet welcoming neighbors Cassie and teen daughter Grace. Cassie isn't only Sam's new neighbor but a business rival whose herbs have eased the town's ailments for years. Grace has a precognitive gift, usually reserved for family members, which begins to include Nick. After assessing his crude office, Sam confronts Middleton's self-absorbed mayor over her false claims and assurances that brought him to town. By not completely forgiving her, holding her accountable, she begins a one-woman crusade to remove him from town. Meanwhile, Brandon (Cassie's brother-in-law) chooses a career that unsettles the family, while George (Cassie's father-in-law) shows signs of a serious medical condition.
