Story
In a parallel society, humanoid robots, hubots, are used for household chores or sexual favors. A band of emancipated hubots are hiding in the countryside, led by the hubot Niska. With them is also the human Leo, searching for the hubot Mimi that he has fallen in love with. Mimi has in fact been kidnapped and sold to the Engman family, renamed to Anita. Next to the Engmans live Roger Pålsson who bears a grudge to hubots since his wife Therese moved out, preferring the company of her exercise hubot instead. In the forest, two humans at an isolated farmstead are murdered by Niska.
